Handcrafted in Japan by artisans in the Shiga prefecture. Daiyo candles are often used in tea ceremonies and Buddhist Temples.
The candle is made from sumac wax harvested from the haze tree and the wick is made of washi-paper, rush weeds and silk fibers. Because of this unique structure, the flame is larger and brighter than conventional candles. 100% natural and sustainable.
Burn time 20 - 40 mins depending on size.
